Affiliated Computer Services Inc. will have a job fair 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday Aug. 29 at its call center, 2424 Garden of the Gods Road, to recruit up to 220 new hires for a three-week training session that begins Sept. 8.

The Colorado Springs center, which employs about 300, will handle calls for a wireless carrier Affiliated has declined to identify and is planned to employ 600 by year’s end. The center also will take walk-in applicants until the positions are filled; candidates also can apply online at www.acs-inc.com under the “careers” tab.
